Costs and Financial Aid
NU Start 2008 fees reflect summer tuition, room and board fees for the University community and will be determined in Spring 2008. However, the fees structure for NU Start 2007 represents an approximate cost for the program.
Special arrangements, however, have been made so that recipients of the following scholarships may use awards to cover the tuition portion of NU Start cost: Regents, JD Edwards, Theisen, New Nebraskan, and National Merit / Achievement Finalist. The credit hours earned in NU Start will count towards the total number of hours subject to the stipulations of each scholarship.
2007 NU Start Fees
Tuition & University Fees: $792.00 (Resident), $2052.00 (Non-Resident)
Room & Board: $475.00 (Resident), $475.00 (Non-Resident)
* These numbers are approximate. Fees do not include cost of text books and the NU Start program fee of $200 which covers NU Start out-of-class activities. The NU Start program fee is non-refundable and is payable when you register for NU Start.
If you are awarded a scholarship from someone other than the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and wish to apply it towards NU Start, the awarding agency must write a letter to the University's Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid authorizing it to be applied towards NU Start.
